About

The Darlington Clarinet Ensemble was formed over twenty five years ago and is now a group of around twenty players which meets to play fortnightly during term time at the Darlington Arts Centre. See the history page for more information.

The ensemble’s library of over four hundred and fifty pieces comprises both original compositions and arrangements. Many of the arrangements have been made by members of the ensemble.

The ensemble rehearses for its own pleasure and gives concerts. Once a year we host a workshop for clarinet and saxophone players to which guest tutors are invited.

The DCE has performed for music clubs, charities and churches. We welcome enquiries from concert promoters.

Further information about the ensemble and details of past and future events can be found on this website.
