We had an absolutely fabulous day today at our annual Play Day. A big thank you to our brilliant conductors David Lancaster and Michael Cox who really guided us though some lovely pieces of music. We enjoyed a full day of single reed, clarinet ensemble, saxophone ensemble and quartet and quintet playing and we also had Norma’s delicious homemade cakes to keep us going! Thank you to everyone who came, and to Sempre Music for bringing along their music 🎶

We have started a rather large project to update our music library and protect it. We are very lucky to have over 600 pieces of music for clarinet ensemble, and lots of music for bass clarinet ensemble, saxophone ensemble and single reed ensemble that have been bought, arranged or composed for us over the years.Big thank you to Norma who has been instrumental in the cataloging of the music and to Charles who is currently in the process of building us some more sturdy shelves! Doesn’t it look smart!?
